State Board of Directors

 We are guided by a dedicated and compassionate State Board of Directors. Comprised of leaders with diverse professional expertise and a shared commitment to our mission, the board provides essential strategic oversight and governance. They are integral to ensuring Three Graces remains a leader in disability advocacy and continues to provide life-changing opportunities for individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD). Their unwavering support and vision are crucial to our success and long-term impact on the community. 

Candice Chapman, Board Chair

 Candice is a stay-at-home mom to two children with special needs. Her daughter, Hadley, is 8 years old. She was diagnosed with an ultra-rare genetic condition, Wolf-Hirschhorn Syndrome at 10 1/2 months old and Autism at 6 years old. Her son, Gipson, is 5 years old. He was diagnosed with Down Syndrome after a stay in the NICU. Candice and her husband, Eric, started volunteering in the IDD community 7 years ago. “I am so excited and honored to be a part of the Three Graces Advisory Board.”  

Rachel Cook

 Rachel is the Marketing Manager for a private firm in Houston. She is a graduate  of the University of Houston with a BFA in Art History (’10) and an Executive MBA (’22).  Rachel is a Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo lifetime member and the first female outrider of the Grand Entry Committee. She has ridden with the Valley Lodge Trail Ride Association since a child and is now Assistant Trail Boss and Head Scout. For three years, Rachel has Chaired the Annual Summer Salsa Luncheon for the Houston Phi Mu Fraternity Alumni Association to raise funds for Children’s Miracle Network and Texas Children’s Hospital. The three years as chair for this event, it was the top earning philanthropic fundraising event nationally for Phi Mu. She brings to the Board her vast knowledge and experience as a businesswoman and volunteer, and a strong commitment to the Houston community. 

Eric Chapman

 

Eric Chapman grew up in Austin, TX.   He currently lives in Hondo, TX with his wife, Candice, and their two amazing kids on the family ranch. His daughter, Hadley, is 8 years old. She was diagnosed with an ultra-rare genetic condition, Wolf-Hirschhorn Syndrome at 10 1/2 months old and Autism at 6 years old. Hadley attends school at the Behavioral Resource Center in Kerrville TX and is Thriving!!! His son, Gipson, is 5 years old. He was diagnosed with Down Syndrome after a stay in the NICU.    Eric's passion for inclusion goes above and beyond, and is driven by the obstacles that his children will have to face.  He wants to build a world that understands and accepts everyone for who they are!

Sallie Weir Farris, Development Board Chair

Sallie is the Community Relations Manager for the Sugar Land Space Cowboys, Triple A Affiliate for the Houston Astros. She was born and raised in Dallas, TX and attended the University of Missouri in Columbia. She has been with the Space Cowboys, formerly Skeeters, for 8 years and is currently in her 9th season with the team. She manages the Space Cowboys Reading Program, Kids Club, donation requests, pregame involvement, and other community programing and outreach. She and her husband, Patrick, live in Richmond, TX with their son, Cameron, and their two cats, Dak and Yzma. 

 

Debbie Kallina

 Debbie has been a lifelong advocate for the IDD community and started actively volunteering when she was in high school in Katy, Tx.  Through the years she has volunteered with several IDD focused non-profits and has assisted in launching friendship programs in elementary and jr. high schools in her area.  She has also been an involved volunteer at IDD assisted living facilities like Brookwood and Willow River Farms. “I am so excited to join the advisory board of Three Graces! I am firm supporter of their three pillars that promote inclusion and acceptance through education, corporate accountability and workforce diversity. Everyone deserves to be seen, heard, and valued and I believe Three Graces’ mission will greatly impact many lives in and outside of the IDD community.  I am so honored to be a small part of it.”

Darren Randle

 Darren is the founder/owner of Houston Tents & Events. Prior to that he was a partner of another event rental provider in Houston. He got his start in the sports industry working with the Houston Texans and UH Athletics, while he was attending the University of Houston for his bachelor’s and master’s degrees. He and his now wife, Kori, moved here from the Memphis, TN area, where he was born and raised. He and his wife live in The Woodlands with their two daughters, Kali and Karoline.

  Our Development Board is a distinguished group of philanthropic leaders and community advocates. Their strategic fundraising efforts, extensive networks, and dedicated stewardship are essential to securing the financial resources needed to sustain and grow our programs. Their passion for our mission drives our ability to create life-changing opportunities and expand our impact in the community. 

Ashlynn Bridges

 Ashlynn Bridges is the Senior Director of Community Impact for Compudopt. She has served the IDD community for over four years. Specializing in community engagement, leadership/character development, and event planning, Ashlynn enjoys inspiring others towards growth, light, and authenticity. 

Ashley Decman

Over the last decade Ashley has been actively volunteering with various schools and non-profit organizations focused on IDD individuals. Ashley first got involved in high school where she discovered her strong sense of social awareness that compelled her to action. Having served in leadership roles with non-profits focused on IDD individuals,  Ashley has spent countless hours dedicated to promoting the mission of inclusion. Ashley utilizes her strengths in organization and strategic planning to  lead our efforts across Houston.

Anne Motley

  Anne is originally from Alabama and graduated from Auburn University in 2007. Anne was a Special Olympics coach and president of Auburn's Best Buddies Chapter during her college years. She moved to Houston after graduation and spent 15 years working for Best Buddies International, a non-profit organization that provides support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Anne currently works for The Women's Resource as the RISE! Program Manager. 

Casey Rankin

 Casey is originally from Florida and moved to Houston 7 years ago to work with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. She worked as an advocate to assist students and teachers create inclusive environments in schools. She also worked with adults with disabilities obtain competitive employment. She now works in Human Resources for Retina Consultants of Texas. She is looking forward to spreading Three Graces Mission of inclusion!   

Raenel Smedley

 Raenel currently works for Express Scripts as a Financial Analysis Advisor. She is looking forward to being a part of the Development Committee and helping fulfill Three Graces’ mission.
